ab workout
SUEDEYA M asked:

I just got a gym membership to workout on abs mainly. I use the ellpitical and stair master, but I don’t know which one is best for abs. Or is there another?

BACK SQUATS! A solid core starts with a solid foundation. Working one muscle group will result in injury and disappointing results.

the cross trainer or ski machine whichever you call it is great for your abs arms and butt as well as legs so id do that for at least 30 min at a time if i was only going to choose one but if u have an extra 5 or ten min to spare lay on the floor and do crunches with an ab roller even at home while you watch tv.
that really works if you do it everyday and will help u get to the stage wher you can do full situps without the ab roller.

Nothing is better that regular old crunches. The elliptical and stair master will help but they don’t focus directly on your abs. Try doing some bicycle crunches, they are supposed to be the most effective.

Treadmill is the best cardio machine as it burns the most calories compared to the stair master and ellipiticals and bike.

Also, the treadmill is great to do HIIT — which is the best form of cardio. Learn how here

Also, you have to do strength training. Make sure you do compound exercises. There’s more info here

    Good luck.

I don’t reccomend any abs machines that specifically targt the abs (such as those weight machines that adds weights to the crunches). Those target the ouside ab muscles, but you should be targetting your inner core muscles.

The elliptical will work your abs, but make sure you stand up straight and are not hunching over.

Another thing I suggest is looking up some articles online on how to use medicine and stability balls to do ab exercises. Those work great!
