abs workout
Tyler (RIP Mitch Mitchell) asked:

I’m 14 and I’ve tried everything to get good abs and a chest. I did push ups and sit ups every night for around four months. Could it be I workout too much and I need day rests? Or is it my diet?
What workouts should I try? And how many sets should I do of how many push ups ans sit ups?

Push ups and sit ups are excellent exercises but you need to give your muscles a chance to repair the torn fibers for a couple of days before you do the same exercise again. Try one day push ups, second sit ups, third rest, than re-start.
Your diet is also very important if you want to grow muscles. You will need to eat at least 80 to 100 g of protein a day. That means, protein in every one of the 3 meals.

You are probably too young to develop the kind of muscles you may be thinking about. Also you need AT LEAST of day’s rest between workouts otherwise you are tearing down the mucels.

pushups and situps will help alot, but you may want to buy a set of free weights and do some benchpresses or sign up for a gym membership - those will help even more.

When you work out, your muscles get torn, then they repair themselves and get larger to cope with the stress of working out. If you don’t rest, they’ll never recover. Typically your muscles need 24-48 hours of rest after intense exercise to recover.
