No! You want them to feel sore after a workout! There are no bad effects, keep it up!

No, a good workout is where you are a bit sore the next day, especially in the abs region. It depends on how sore, and for how long. You don’t want to strain muscles from overwork, but a little soreness is normal.
There would not be any long-term consequences from muscle strain.

no, this is a good thing. you want to be sore. just be sure not to overdo it or do the same muscle group two days in a row because you will damage the muscle and it wont do what you want it to. . . yadda yadda yadda you know all this

abs are one of those few muscles you can work out everyday and be ok. Theres a difference between sore the next day and Oh my god it feels like someone just stabbed me. Thats bad pain. But sore like you feel like you need to stretch is just right. Over time you will get used to it and need to do more to get that feeling. don’t over do it if you are just starting out.

oh no, nothing wrong with that.. as long as u are not feeling sharp pain.. which i doubt u are.. and as long as u do not train the same muscle everyday….. then u can be straining..
and abs should not be worked longer then 5 - 10 mins.. thats all

lawl. i just started an ab routine yesterday (8 minute abs on) and today my abs are really sore. but it’s an OK sore, you need to feel that because thats when you know ur muscles are building up. They are repairing themselves and making them bigger and stronger. you should do it every other day (rest so that ur abs can have a break and grow!!) and eventually you’ll need to do a more intense work out to keep getting that feeling!!
