Adidas asked:
I work out with v-ups and crunches 5 days a week. i do about 100 of em on the floor, and I sometimes go to the gym. I feel slightly more sore after working out at the gym than just doing the same amount of crunches at home. About how long will it take for me to get rippled six pack abs at this rate? im 16
im not fat, and i can feel the hard muscles when i bend up, but it disappears when i lie down

About as long as it will take for you to lower your bodyfat enough (less than 10%) to see your entire six pack. Seeing a visible sixpack is about proper dieting, cardiovascular training, and building overall muscle to burn fat. You can do v-ups until the cows come home — if your bodyfat isn’t low enough, you aren’t going to see your 6 pack.
P.S. If you don’t see your abdominal muscles but feel your six-pack underneath, you have fat over your six-pack and will need to lose it in order to see your abs.

It’s counterproductive to blast the same muscles five times a week. At most, you should be working out twice a week. If you did it 50 times a day, it wouldn’t get you there any faster.
To answer your question, it’s not going to happen in days. Or weeks. Give it months.

I’m a personal trainer and while ab exercises are important for getting a six pack your body fat percentage is more important.
In order to have a really ripped six pack you have to be less than 10% body fat. Bodybuilders aim for 5% or less.
To decrease you body fat, you have to do some cardio, and eat really well. I am a fan of low carb diets for losing body fat.
Check out my site it has a ton of information on getting a six pack.
I’ll send the link to the page that will show you one way to calculate your body fat percentage.
I hope that helps
