I’m 5′1 ft. and weight 128 pds. I was wondering what can I do to try to get a six pack by summer. I know that I got to do crunches, and diet. I was wondering what should I eat and what type of crunches would be the best to get my six pack.

The biggest thing that you have to do to get a six pack is to get your body fat percentage below 10%. It is alot of work, and once you get them, it’s a ton of maintenance. You have to start by getting your calorie intake below the amount that you burn. Eat lots of complex carbs like pasta, oatmeal, and other grains, as well as lots of fruits, veggies, and lean meats like fish and chicken. You also need to do lots of cardio. Any reputable gym can give you a Body fat percentage test, but you don’t really need one; once you get around 8.5-9% Body fat you will be able to tell, because you will be able to see your abs. ABS ARE THE BEST INDICATOR OF A LOW BODY FAT PERCENTAGE!!!

This question pops up about once a day.. Try the Ab Diet by David Zinczenko Best seller.. Crunches and other movements are necessary to hit your abs from different angles as well as your obliques(sp?)

just know that crunches ARE the way to go. sit ups mainly work a muscle deeper into your abdomen called the psoas which nobody can see. the kind of crunches that are good are when you’re on your back, knees up. This will isolate the abs. No need to do twists or anything if you just want a six pack. that would work other muscles and would be unnecessary. I don’t know much about diet, but I’m a massage therapist and know a bit about muscles. Also, know that you will have to burn fat. Everybody has a six-pack, it’s just hiding under fat.

all you have to do is lose weight. i’m 5′4 110 lbs and i have a flat stomach since i dont work out. my p.e teachers told me that if i worked out, i would have nice abs. so just lost weight, then work on your crunches. twisting crunches work on your obliques and i suggest you do them so your abs dont look all out of proportion. lol

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.
